Security and privacy

Encrypted connection, backups and permissions for each user. The technical side settled, so that the board does not have to deal with it.

What no board should have to sort out

Certificates, encryption, backups, access control. In any company a technical department handles these things, and in a parents' association there is no reason anyone should know how. And yet that is where the school children's data is.

With MiAMPA that part comes settled out of the box.

What it includes

Encrypted connection

Security certificates on the association's website as well as its mobile app.

Backups

Unlimited, and with free restore. A serious mistake stops being a disaster.

Permissions for each user

Several administrator accounts, each one seeing only the part that concerns them.

Payments through a gateway

Card and Bizum payments are processed through the payment gateway, not through homemade workarounds.

Why it matters in a parents' association

  • The data does not depend on anybody's laptop or on a hard drive that can fail.
  • Handing over to a new board means withdrawing access, not passing round copies of lists.
  • Families trust you more when they can see the platform is a serious one.
  • Something deleted by accident can be recovered instead of being lost for good.
